It’s that time again. It’s Friday – my favourite day of the week where I get to share with you some of the most thought-provoking and interesting personal development articles that I’ve come across this week.
Here are the articles that made me stop and think this week:
Mark Harrison over at The Change Blog wrote a great article about Staying Motivated: The Watercourse Way which reminds us that while pursuing our passions, we should also not be taking ourselves too seriously.
The always thought-provoking Walter over at LionSlinger wrote about Love Eternal this week. Read this article and see if you don’t end up wiping tears at the end of it. I know I almost started bawling when I finished reading the poem. A very thoughtful article.
Trent at The Simple Dollar asked a simple question Why Work? which made me stop and think about why I work. Go check it out and let me know if it changed your idea of why you work.
Ben at 6Aliens asked us to consider that It’s the little things that make a big difference. I couldn’t agree more with this. Living consciously and with meaning requires us to think of how our actions and words affect other people. Such a great article and reminder to us all.
James the Infopreneur guest-posted over at Lifestyle Design For You and advise us that People Will Tell You To Quit, I Say Screw Them and Do It! Great advice, James, and such a motivational article, too. Go check it out.
I hope you enjoy checking out and reading these articles. What have you read this week that made you stop and think? Share with us.
As always, have a great weekend!

Some great blogs in there – thanks Karen!
Also worth checking out is Travis’ blog; he’s back with a vengeance as far as I’m concerned. http://www.travisamorgan.com/
Thanks for sharing, Heather. His blog does look very cool. I’ll keep an eye on him and hopefully he’ll be added to one of my Friday’s Links articles.
He’s a great guy
Definitely worth a watch. But that’s just my opinion of course

Paul´s last blog ..How fussy are you about things in life?
Thanks, Paul
I figure that in the course of reading during the week, if an article made me stop and think and was particularly share-worthy, I have to pass it along to my readers so that they can enjoy the article, too.
Thank you for the mention Karen – very kind of you.
Have a fantastic weekend
Ben´s last blog ..You don’t think you can do it, I know.
You wrote some great articles on your site and with your guest-posting this week, Ben. It was really difficult to choose just one
Thanks. Hope you have a fantastic weekend, too.

Good compilation of links karen
Thanks, Farouk. Definitely check them out and let me know what you think.
Hi Karen,
Thanks for the links…some great ones in there. I’m a great fan of Seth Godin. You might find his new book, Linchpin, which is concerned more about personal development than marketing.

Welcome Adrian,
I’m currently reading Linchpin and will be doing a review of it in the next few days, so stayed tuned…
Glad that you enjoyed the links. Let me know what you think of them.
Thanks for sharing,

Hi Karen,
I particularly like Ben’s site (http://www.6aliens.com/) and James’ work at his own site (http://www.theinfopreneur.net/) or guest posting for others.
True inspiration
I’ll look out for the Linchpin review. I’ll send you my thoughts when I’ve finished it too.
