Friday’s Links

It’s Friday and my favourite day of the week. This is the day that I get to share with you articles that I’ve come across this week that have made me stop and think. I hope you enjoy them.

First up is Paul over at Diary 4 Life who asked us Gratitude – What Are You Grateful For? I’m grateful to Paul for reminding me that I have so much to be thankful for in my life. What are you grateful for?

Next, we have Yaro over at Entreprenuer’s Journey who wrote a great article (the 4th in his Positive Change series) called Don’t Let Your Ignorance Stop You. I really liked this article and thought it had some great advice. Go check it out and let me know what you think.

J.D. Bentley wrote an article at his site Wage Slave Rebel telling us How To Handle Criticism Like A Millionaire. There are so many great nuggets of wisdom in this article that made me stop and think. I know you will, too.

Ever been in jail? I haven’t and I have no desire to visit one either. Hulbert Lee at his site From Bottom Up really made a lot of us think of the consequences of drinking and driving when he wrote part one and part two of his brother’s night in jail in What It Feels Like To Spend 10 Hours in a Jail Cell.

Finally, we have Eleanor over at Give A Break who asks us to consider Life Without Limbs? Life Without Limits! This is a great inspirational article and a must-see video about Nick Vujicic. I dare you to tell me you’re not inspired after watching this video and visiting Nick’s site. No excuses and no limits!

What have you read this week that made you stop and think? Share with us by leaving a comment. Thanks!

As always, have a fantastic weekend!

The most memorable post I’ve read this week is “The Reason Nobody Knows That All They Want Is No Money” from BluePop13. Here, I realized that it is important to have the right reasons for working and earning money. Through the response to my comment, I also realized where your security should come from – from within yourself, and not from external factors such as your financial stability.

Hi Julius,

Thanks for letting us know that Eric’s article really touched you. I do agree that he wrote a great article this week, but I had to choose only 5 for this Friday’s Links.

Hey Karen,
Sounds like awesome stuff. I am going to read them tonight.
I’ve been following Story of Hulbert’s brother. It was quiet thought provoking.

Have a great weekend.

Hi King,

Wasn’t it interesting to read? I quite enjoyed reading what happened and would be interested in a follow-up to hear if he really learned his lesson or not.

Thanks! I hope you have a great weekend, too.

Hi Karen, I look forward to these round up of articles (I’m just catching up now) there’s some great content out there and it takes some finding, so thanks for taking the time to do it.

Eleanor’s got some great inspirational stuff on her site. I have no idea where she gets all the inspiration from! :-)

Hi Matthew,

Yes, Eleanor at http://www.giveabrick.com/ has a great series on 1 Minute Motivators that she’s doing, plus all the other inspiratioinal articles. She’s been on my links before and I’m sure that she will be again.

It’s tough to pick only 5 articles for my Friday’s Links each week because there are so many great articles to choose from, but I try to pick articles that have either really made me think or was particularly unique and thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing what made you think this week.
