Darren Rowse from Problogger.net sent out a challenge yesterday to his readers to take part in the 7 Link Challenge. This sounded like a lot fun, so here is my entry for the Challenge.
The idea is to publish a post that is a list of 7 links to posts that you and others have written that respond to the following 7 categories.
Your links should be to:
- Your first post: The First Step
- A post you enjoyed writing the most: 100 Things That Make Me Happy
- A post which had a great discussion: Do You Need To Let Go And Forgive?
- A post on someone else’s blog that you wish you’d written: Don’t Let Your Ignorance Stop You
- Your most helpful post: Seven Friends You Need In Your Life
- A post with a title that you are proud of: Garbage in, Garbage out: Why You Need To Control What You Allow Into Your Life
- A post that you wish more people had read: Invest In Your Most Important Asset – Yourself
This was a great (and easy) Challenge to complete.
I urge you to check out some of the above links and go over to Darren’s site to check out other people’s entries.
If you are a fellow blogger, share with us your entry. I’ll check out as many as I can. Thanks!
If you enjoyed this post, please consider leaving a comment or subscribing to my feed to have all the future articles delivered to your feed reader. Thanks!

Hey Karen,
“7 Day Challenge” that’s really a cool idea. Though i’m already doing weekly link love posts.
I really enjoyed your “100 Things That Make Me Happy” and yaro’s post ‘Don’t Let Your Ignorance Stop You” .
Keep up the good work Karen.

Thanks so much, Dev. I’m glad that you enjoyed the articles. This challenge was a lot of fun to go back to the archives and pull out some gems.
I was going to do this challenge, but I had a CommentLuv post burning a hole in my laptop so published that instead. You’re in it
I thought this was a great idea though and I especially enjoy reading those posts bloggers wish more of us had read.

Hey Jean,
Yes, I enjoyed reading your CommentLuv article and I couldn’t agree more with it.
You can always do a similar post later on and pretend it was your idea
Thanks,
Karen
I’d not seen this, in fact, I’ve not been on Problogger as much as I should.
This really is a brilliant idea. I’m going to read these first, then take part in the challenge myself.
Matthew Needham´s last blog ..The Life you Should be Most Excited About
Oh, Matthew, you’ve been missing out on some stellar articles over there. But, with your timecrunch, you’re forgiven. I’ll check out your entry to the Challenge, for sure.
What a great idea! I love it!
This is the first I’ve heard about it, but I’ve definitely got to do it. It will be a great project for early next week.
Thanks for sharing this, Karen!

You’re welcome, Jess. Come back and give us a link to your entry.
Karen,
This is really good idea, Maybe I will do it soon, thanks for sharing this idea and wonderful links from others and your site.
There’s a lot of people taking part in this Challenge – you can definitely do it, too, Preeti. It’s great to highlight some of your older articles so that new readers have a chance to read some great stuff.
Hi Karen, saw this post last night and decided to give it a bash today and the results are in.
Have a great weekend

I knew you would participate, Maria
Quite a fun Challenge, eh? It’s nice to go back to what you’ve written and bring fresh eyes to the articles. Hopefully, many more people will be helped through it.
Echoing others but I’d not seen Darren’s challenge. Sounds fab. I’m going to cheat a little and use posts I’ve written both on GAB as well as my place. A post is a post eh?

Eleanor Edwards´s last blog ..Saved by the dirty jobs
Definitely, Eleanor. No one said that they had to come from the same source. Break up the rules and make it your own challenge!
Very nice article, thanks! I’ve subscribed to your RSS feed. Please keep up posting.
Thanks!
This is a great idea Karen. It has given me some exposure to some great posts of yours which I might not have found otherwise.
Marion Anderson´s last blog ..Overwhelm and the Learning Life Cycle
Thanks, Marion. That’s the point – to get readers who wouldn’t otherwise have read some of the older articles to read them.
It’s funny how many people only look at the home page of sites and don’t bother to look at the Archives or articles that aren’t on the main page. Plus, even with my Related Articles section at the end of each post, many people aren’t aware of the older, great articles.
Thanks Karen for the heads up with this. I’m normally a blog reader so tweets and facebook recommends might not work well with me. You got my attention when you’ve taken action and posted your links here. I’ll take a look at your links and will be posting mine in the next upcoming days.
Thu Nguyen´s last blog ..How I Reviewed- Rewrote and Revived My Ideas to Keep Hope Alive in Times of Blogging Slumps
Hi Thu,
Taking action is the important part of the equation. We all do the best we can, with what we have, where we are. You can do the same and post your seven categories, too, as it gives new readers a way of reading the articles that you selected as your best, helpful, useful, etc.
Thanks,
Karen
Hey Karen
Wow what a great post! Meeting our good friend Justin has been the best thing that has happened in my business since I started. I have wasted thousands on marketing with people promising so much and delivering very little once they got my money.
Justin is an outstanding Entrepreneur that goes beyond the call of duty to satisfy his clients. His artical that you have shared tells it like it is no bull. His latest video leeson he shot was done at 11.00 pm at night and he looked totally exhuasted.Thats dedication! But I have seen a video of him sharing some very special moments hiking in the country with his 2 young boys while most of us are working so the benefits are there. I admire people who have the guts to go for it despite the challenges. Look forward to reading more of your blog.
Stan Young´s last blog ..I wish there were No Problems!
Welcome Stan,
I’m not sure if you wanted to write this on Justin’s guest post or my 7 Links Challenge, but thanks so much for your thoughts about Justin and his entrepreneurial wisdom and experience. I couldn’t agree more! I, too, have seen his hiking video with his two cute little boys – the time benefits he spoke of in his article are tremendous.

Hi Karen –
You know your GIGO post not only has a great title, it’s also a really good post. Perhaps the one everyone should read. Enjoyed getting to know you a little better.
I’m looking forward to spending some more time exploring your blog.
